1) Lesson and Make-Up Policies

Lessons are scheduled on either a month to month or a semesterly basis. You may cancel any lesson with 24 hours notice.  Any cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled time will count against your allotment of lessons in the month and will not be rescheduled.  If your teacher cancels any lesson it will be rescheduled at your mutual earliest convenience. All make- up lessons must be completed within the same month or term in which they were missed. If a make-up lesson is not completed within the original month or term, it will not carry over into the next month or term.

2) Payment Policies

Lesson rates are as follows, due each month.

Monthly payments are due on the first of each month via either recurring credit card or bank payments through our invoicing system.   If any payment is missed lessons will be canceled until payment is received in full. Any lesson missed while pending payment will not be rescheduled.   Any NSF payments will be charged a $25 processing fee.

Students taking lessons on a semesterly basis are required to create an account and have a credit card saved on file for automatic recurring monthly payments.

Payments are nonrefundable. If a student decides to terminate lessons part way through the month or semester, the remaining lessons will not be reimbursed.

Fees are for lesson sessions only and do not include books or other materials.  Books can be ordered through your teacher and the price will be passed along to you at cost.    All required materials must be purchased and paid for in full before the lesson in which they are needed.

3) Referral Program

Each student of UMA receives a unique referral code. When your code is used by a new client, they will receive 15% off of their first invoice and you will receive one free lesson on your next invoice.  A referral code can only be used once by each student on their first invoice.
